Business owner in a coaching session discussing growth strategy

Business coaching that fixes the bottleneck you already know about

You built something real. Revenue grew. Then it plateaued, or the hours got unsustainable, or the team stopped keeping pace. We help you find the structural fix and install it inside 90 days.

Book your diagnostic call

Four stages, twelve weeks, one clear outcome

Most coaching programmes are open-ended. Ours is not. We run a 12-week cycle with a defined deliverable at each stage. If we cannot identify a measurable improvement opportunity in the first fortnight, we refund the diagnostic fee.

01

Diagnostic deep-dive

Two half-day sessions where we map your revenue model, cost structure, team capacity and decision-making patterns. You leave with a written brief: here is what is costing you the most money or time right now.

02

Strategy design

We draft a 90-day plan targeting one or two high-leverage changes. Could be pricing architecture, a new sales process, a management layer you have been avoiding, or dropping a service line that drains margin.

03

Implementation sprints

Fortnightly working sessions where we build the thing together. Scripts, spreadsheets, hiring briefs, SOPs, whatever the plan requires. You do the work; we keep it structured and on schedule.

04

Review and handover

Week 12: we measure what changed, document the new process, and agree whether a second cycle makes sense. Many clients stop here because the problem is solved.

Six problems we solve repeatedly

Owner dependency

If the business stalls when you take a week off, the issue is structural, not motivational. We redesign decision authority and daily operations so the company runs without your constant input. Typical engagement: the owner reclaims 12–15 hours per week within two months.

Pricing and margins

We audit your pricing against delivery cost, competitor positioning and willingness-to-pay data. Most clients discover they are 15–30% below where the market would accept them.

Hiring the right second-in-command

Writing the role spec, structuring the interview process, designing the first-90-days plan. We have helped 40+ owners make this hire without an expensive recruitment agency.

Revenue plateau

Stuck between £500k and £1.2m is a common pattern. The sales approach that got you here will not get you further. We rebuild your pipeline, qualification criteria and close process.

Operational chaos

Projects slip, clients chase you for updates, team members duplicate effort. We install lightweight project management and reporting rhythms that stick because they are simple enough to maintain.

Fifteen years of running businesses, then coaching them

Before coaching, I ran two service businesses: one scaled to £3.8m turnover and was sold in 2017; the other failed at £400k because I hired too fast and managed too slowly. Both taught me more than any MBA could.

Since 2018, I have worked with 217 owner-managed companies across professional services, trades, e-commerce and SaaS. The common thread is always the same: the owner is the constraint, and the fix is almost never "work harder."

I hold an ILM Level 7 in Executive Coaching and I am a member of the Association for Coaching. Sessions happen over video or in person at our office in West Leuschke Place.

Before you get in touch

The diagnostic (stage 1) is £950 + VAT. The full 12-week programme is £4,800 + VAT, paid in three monthly instalments. There is no long-term contract. If the diagnostic does not surface a clear improvement opportunity, we refund the £950.
Typically £300k to £5m annual revenue, with 3 to 40 employees. Below £300k the economics of coaching rarely make sense yet. Above £5m you probably need a fractional COO or a consultancy team rather than a solo coach.
Yes. The diagnostic sessions work best face-to-face. We can meet at our office in West Leuschke Place or at your premises anywhere in England. Implementation sprints usually happen over video because they are shorter (60–90 minutes) and more frequent.
It is closer to consulting than to therapy. We bring frameworks and direct recommendations. The difference from a consultancy is that you do the implementation, with our structure and accountability, so the knowledge stays inside your company when the engagement ends.
We offer a monthly retainer (£800/month, two sessions) for clients who want ongoing support after the initial cycle. About 22% of clients take this up. The rest move on with a clear playbook.
Rarely. Our methods assume you already have customers, revenue and at least one employee besides yourself. If you are pre-revenue, a startup accelerator or an enterprise programme from your local Growth Hub will serve you better at this stage.

Let's see if coaching fits

The first step is a 25-minute call where we figure out whether your situation matches what we do well. No pitch deck, no pressure. If it is not a fit, we will say so and point you elsewhere.
